This new venture will allow Lupicinio International Law Firm to establish its presence in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras al Khaima), positioning LILF as, in the words of Partner and Head of International Operations at the firm José María Viñals, “the go-to Spanish law firm in the Middle East”.

BSA is a law firm with offices throughout the Middle East. It was founded in Dubai in 2001 with the goal of offering legal services which combine intimate knowledge of local legislation with a modern focus and progressive legal practice.

LILF’s Eduardo Delage will head the Spain & Latin American Desk from BSA’s office in Dubai. Eduardo is an expert in commercial law and has been advising clients in the Middle East for over 7 years.

The Executive Chairman of LILF, Lupicinio Rodríguez, highlighted that “this joint venture provides us with an innovative way to enter new markets; Lupicinio International Law Firm is now able to practice in the Middle East, thanks to this dynamic joint venture with BSA, establishing a specific strategy for each of the regions in which they operate alongside the LILF brand.”

Simultaneously, this joint venture will allow BSA to strengthen its presence in the regions where LILF operates and will provide them with significant exposure in Latin American markets. In the words of Ahmad Bin Hezeem, “we chose to work with Lupicinio International Law Firm due to its more than 30 years of experience in international law, in areas such as financial and banking law, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, compliance, data protection, energy, and pharmaceutical and chemical legislation.”
