The Council of the European Union has imposed restrictive measures against six entities due to the ongoing conflict in Sudan between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and their associated militias.
Restrictive measures have been imposed against the following entities: Defense Industries System and SMT Engineering, engaged in manufacturing weapons and vehicles for the SAF. Zadna International Company for Investment Limited, which is controlled by the SAF, is also targeted. Un addition, there are three companies involved in the procurement of military equipment for the RSF, namely: Al Junaid Multi Activities Co Ltd, Tradive General Trading and GSK Advance Company Ltd. These entities are subject to an assets freeze and a prohibition on the provision to them, directly or indirectly, of funds or economic resources.
