In November 2024, our lawyer Fátima Rodríguez González was invited by the United Nations (UN) to participate in the International Seminar on Sanctions, Business and Human Rights. This forum brought together leading specialists with the purpose of analyzing the challenges faced by companies and legal professionals in the context of international sanctions.
During her intervention, Fátima Rodríguez talked about a highly relevant topic: “Risks for legal professionals in cases of sanctions”. In her presentation, she examined the legal and ethical implications of these measures for lawyers, particularly in a scenario of increasing regulatory complexity.
This seminar constitutes a fundamental space for reflection on corporate responsibility and the safeguarding of human rights facing the application of international sanctions.
