On 14th March 2020, Spain declared the State of Alarm by means of Royal Decree 463/2020, which involved the adoption of extraordinary containment measures for the management of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19, including, in general terms, limitations on the freedom of movement of persons, temporary requisitions and obligatory personal benefits, in addition to containment measures in the educational, labour and commercial fields.
