Marlen Estévez Sanz, together with the head of the Criminal Department of Lupicinio International Law Firm and head of the diplomatic relations commission of Women in a Legal World, Fátima Rodríguez González, presided over an event in which women once again played a leading role.
Among the guests were Julissa Reynoso, Ambassador of the USA, Sankie Mthembi-Mahanyele, Ambassador of South Africa, Sari Rautio, Ambassador of Finland, Fatma Omrani, Ambassador of Tunisia, Sophia McIntyre, Ambassador of Australia and Teresa Orjales Vidal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain on Special Mission for European Summits and Bilateral Forums.
The central issues of the event, and the main contributions of the ambassadors, revolved around the role of women in the workplace in various countries, especially in the countries of origin of the ambassadors invited, with special emphasis on the defence of their rights and the current relevance of gender equality, as well as the relationship between these important issues accompanied with the role of new technologies and their impact on modern society.
