Lupicinio International Law Firm has acted as private prosecutor before the National Court in the proceedings concerning Urbas’ capital increase, a transaction of approximately €384 million which has been subject to extensive judicial scrutiny.
The case, brought by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, focuses on the alleged overvaluation of real estate assets contributed as part of a non-cash transaction, an issue that has prompted significant legal debate in relation to corporate liability and transparency in the securities market. Following nearly a decade of proceedings, the case has recently been declared concluded for judgment, after a trial phase characterised by considerable technical complexity.
