Middle East

The region made up of the 8 Persian Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar) is one of the most stable economic areas in the world, with secure legal frameworks and a strong and clear international and commercial vocation. These economies are essentially based on oil production and trade and import practically all the other products they need for domestic consumption.

Many companies use the region as a hub for access to Africa and Asia. The attractive characteristics of the Gulf, together with an entry zone greatly facilitated by free trade zones, have resulted in excellent business infrastructures and an efficient financial system. This, coupled with a favourable tax environment – individuals exempt from income tax and low import tariffs – and the ability to recruit highly skilled human capital, makes the region one of the most attractive in the world to do business.

LILF has become the Spanish Firm of reference in the Middle East by signing a Joint Venture with BSA Ahmad BinHezeem. In this way we have achieved a presence in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ras al Khaima).
