EXPERIENCE
Wilson De Faria is a lawyer in the Compliance & Internal Investigations practice, with more than thirty years of professional experience. He has had an outstanding performance in the management of large compliance projects, and he has led several large international internal investigations.
Throughout his career, he has taught Compliance in the LL.M in Business Law at CEU-IICS, and Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUC-GO).

In recent years he has led the cases of internal investigation in Brazil, such as Eletrobrás (Lava Jato – Eletrolão) (Lava Jato was the largest corruption investigation case in the history of Brazil) and Vale S.A. (Brumadinho/MG dam collapse) in Brazil, in collaboration with other international law firms, leading a team of 70 lawyers of WFaria.

His Compliance and Internal Investigations team has been elected as the best in Brazil for 4 consecutive years in the Análise Advocacia Brasil yearbook, and he is included in the Latin Lawyers 250 for 3 consecutive years. He was president of the INSEAD Alumni Law Club and Superintendent of Tax Planning at Banco Citibank S.A. Moreover, he is a speaker at prestigious seminars and conferences, such as the Legal, Ethics & Compliance (LEC) Congress in São Paulo.
