Íñigo has developed his professional career, procedural and extra-procedural activity as a lawyer specialising in criminal law, including regulatory compliance. He has extensive experience in criminal proceedings of a financial and economic nature (Economic and Business Criminal Law): highly complex and high value cases, some of a national and international nature, for offences of unfair administration, misappropriation, fraud, punishable insolvency, false documentation, tax fraud, money laundering, corruption in business, bribery, among others.
He has also provided legal advice and opinions to national and international companies on possible criminal and civil liabilities arising from crime.
Íñigo has extensive experience in Regulatory Compliance, especially in the drafting, review and updating of Crime Prevention Plans; drafting of Recommendation Reports; advising Compliance Officers and senior management on internal investigations and other aspects of criminal significance.

Among its main clients are companies from various sectors (technology, real estate, aerospace, commercial (department stores), food, among others); national and international financial institutions; public administrations; senior managers of private entities and public administrations.

Íñigo has published articles in several platforms and specialised magazines such as Thomson Reuters-Aranzadi; also press articles in Cinco Días, Gaceta de los Negocios, Confilegal. He has been a lecturer at the Spanish Association of Compliance (ASCOM-IECOM); Universidad Europea de Madrid; Universidad Internacional de La Rioja; and Fundación para la Investigación sobre el Derecho y la Empresa (FIDE). He has also participated in research sexenios accredited by the Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora (CNEAI) of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Studies and academic activity
Graduate in Law and Doctorate in Law (Criminal Law) from the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a career civil servant in the Corps of Senior Lecturers at the Complutense University of Madrid.
