EXPERIENCE
Dr Frank Schauff has extensive experience in Government relations in Germany, the European Union and internationally. He has advised high-ranking German politicians as an advisor for the Social Democratic Party (SPD) leadership foreign and EU-policy until 2007. Till 2020, he then worked as CEO of the Association of European Businesses (AEB) based in Moscow, representing European economic interests towards the Russian and other governments of the former Soviet region, and in this function, he has advised leading European businessmen and officials on EU-Russian relations. Currently, he advises foreign companies on German and European government affairs with an emphasis in the energy field.

Frank Schauff is co-founder and on the Board member of Institute for Eastern European and Russian Law of the University of Wismar, Germany, he has taught history and international relations at universities in Berlin and Moscow.
MERITS AND AWARDS
He is currently a senior associate at the government relations firm Berlin Global Advisors, manages the work of a German-based bioenergy association, sits on the Board of Directors of a Croatian start-up company and is a member of the Advisory Board of a German executive search company as well as of a Luxembourg-based investment fund. He is co-founder and board member of the Institute for East European Studies at the University of Wismar.
