Experience

Specialised in International Space Law, with experience in legal research, institutional advisory work and academic activity in the fields of aeronautical and outer space law. She has worked as a researcher on the project “EurospaceHub: Increasing Space Innovation and Technology Transfer by Connecting Academia, Industry and Start Ups” at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), focused on innovation and technology transfer in the space sector. She has also participated in the Legal Committee of the Paraguayan Space Agency, contributing to the preparation of responses to the questionnaire on Paraguay’s situation and the need for the delimitation of outer space, for submission to the Legal Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).

In the academic field, she collaborates as a guest lecturer at several international universities, including the University of Leicester (United Kingdom), the Universidad de Antioquia (Colombia) and RUDN University in Moscow, as well as at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Projects and Institutional Advisory

Among her principal activities is her participation as a researcher and legal adviser in the Space Research Working Group of UNDEF/INDAE (Argentina), conducting studies on cybersecurity applied to the space sector and on the possible application of International Humanitarian Law to the militarisation of space and the use of artificial intelligence. She has also participated in the team advising the Government of Paraguay on the drafting of the preliminary Space Law of the Republic of Paraguay, and has advised the Defence Commission of the Government of Ecuador on the unlawfulness of the shooting down of civil aircraft. She was also selected by the publisher Aranzadi to contribute to the Dictionary of Space Legal Terms (2026).

Memberships, Publications and Awards

She is a member of the Space Strategy Working Group of the Plataforma Tecnológica Espacial Española (PAE) (Spanish Space Technology Platform), the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), and collaborates with the Asociación Española de Derecho Aeronáutico y Espacial (AEDAE) (Spanish Association of Aeronautical and Space Law). She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Navigare and of the Expert Support Team of the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) for The Cosmic Futures Project. In addition, she is co-director of the children’s space outreach magazine Pequeños Exploradores del Espacio (Little Space Explorers) and of the educational project Constitución Escolar Lunar (Lunar School Constitution).

In 2025, she received the Grand Award FITEA for Space Innovation and has published works in specialised legal publications and publishers such as COLEX, REDAE, BOJA and Top SEPIN Jurídico.
