Experience
Verónica has a degree in Law from the University of Alcalá and the Central University of Venezuela. She was awarded a scholarship by the A.E.C.I. to study a Master’s Degree in Public Sector Management and Administration at the National Institute of Public Administration of Spain (I.N.A.P.) and the University of Alcalá. She is also a specialist in Matrimonial Law and Canonical Procedural Law.
During his first period in Spain he worked as a consultant for the Public Administration at Arthur Andersen and other consultancy firms. More than ten years ago she returned to the legal world specialising in Family and Inheritance Law; she shares her professional dedication with other areas such as disability law, being a consultant for CERMI Comunidad de Madrid, an entity dedicated to the defence of people with disabilities in the Community of Madrid. Her areas of practice also include real estate law, international contracts, pharmaceutical and distribution law and regulatory compliance.
She is currently the head of the Family and Inheritance Law area of Lupicinio, International Law Firm and has been linked to the Santiago de Miota Law Firm (Madrid) Abogados de Familia, a firm with more than 40 years of experience in the sector.
During her time as a lawyer in Venezuela she focused on Contentious-Administrative Law, dedicating herself to free practice and working for various bodies such as the Attorney General’s Office, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the First Contentious-Administrative Court, a collegiate court in which she worked as a rapporteur in charge of drafting judgments for three magistrates.
