EXPERIENCE
Javier has extensive experience in negotiating contracts with large multinationals. During his professional career he has focused on providing high-level legal advice by applying a practical vision of the law to the broad spectrum of issues affecting international companies. In the last decade he has specialised in the international practice of data protection and information technology law.
Javier has provided professional services to multinational companies requiring strategic review of their compliance risks, assessment of legal processes and improvement of the contracting cycle. He is a negotiator of complex multi-jurisdictional agreements that require experience in handling contractual clauses drafted to operate in different legal systems.
He is currently developing a consultancy project for a multinational company dedicated to the outsourcing of services with the aim of simplifying its contractual documents, speeding up its negotiations and adapting its terms to the environment created by the approval of the new European Data Protection Regulation.
AWARDS
Javier won the Legal Business 1999 award, as well as the award for best litigation team of the year for the Torras Group case (member of the winning Baker & McKenzie team). He is a qualified solicitor in Spain and is also registered in England and Wales (Solicitor).
