EXPERIENCE
As a lawyer in continuous practice since 1976, he has extensive experience in litigation, specialising in commercial, bankruptcy, administrative, criminal, economic and procedural law. He has also distinguished himself in the defence of highly complex commercial arbitrations.
MERITS
He has been Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Alcalá de Henares for ten years and for fifteen years he has taught at the Instituto de Empresa, in the Master’s Degree in Legal Consultancy and at the Madrid Bar Association, in the Training Centre.
He has been a member of the Special Section for Bankruptcy Reform of the General Codification Commission and, from this Section, as Rapporteur for Procedural Law, he has participated in the study and drafting of the new Bankruptcy Law, Law 22/2003 and Organic Law 8/2003, currently in force.
