Carmen specialises in advising companies on all aspects of labour and social security law, including: hiring and employment contracts; senior management and executive personnel; substantial modifications of working conditions; geographical mobility; post-contractual non-compete agreements; implementation and modification of remuneration systems; subcontracting; individual and collective suspensions and dismissals; and the design and implementation of labour compliance policies and protocols (such as working time recording policies, anti-harassment protocols, digital disconnection policies, equality plans, etc.). She also advises on work permits and intra-EU and international secondments.
She has extensive experience in legal representation in judicial and administrative proceedings, acting in defence of the interests of companies and senior executives. She has participated in and successfully concluded negotiations with employee representatives, both in dismissal procedures, temporary lay-off schemes (ERTEs), substantial modifications of working conditions, and in the negotiation of company-level collective bargaining agreements.
In addition, Carmen specialises in advising companies on all matters related to data protection, including the analysis of legal bases for processing in light of data flows in contracts of all kinds, drafting of data processing agreements, data protection audits, international data transfers, intra-group data processing, and the processing of special categories of data. She also has extensive experience assisting companies in the event of data breaches, supporting clients throughout all stages of the process..
