Experience
He holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed part of his studies at the University of Leeds, West Yorkshire, where he excelled in Comparative and Constitutional Law. Guided by a strong international outlook, he lived in Mexico City for several years, a community and country with which he maintains close ties. He earned a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice from Francisco de Vitoria University and began his professional career in 2014, specializing in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. As an expert in these fields, he is the author of several specialized publications, including—among others—the Code of Professional Associations prepared for Spain’s Official State Gazette.
He is a Professor of Constitutional Law—in English—at Rey Juan Carlos University, where he obtained his PhD in Constitutional Law with his doctoral dissertation entitled The Principle of Primacy in the Constitutional Review of New-Generation Treaties in Spain. This work was awarded ex aequo by the Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies of the Ministry of the Presidency with the Nicolás Pérez Serrano Prize for the best doctoral dissertation in Constitutional Law of 2022.
