Ricardo Acosta Fernández has headed the Employment Department at Lupicinio International Law Firm since 2019 and has built a well-established professional career in labour and employment matters and corporate advisory services since 1996. For more than two decades, he has combined his practice as a Labour Relations Professional (Graduado Social) with business consultancy, developing a practice focused on both ongoing legal advisory services and comprehensive human resources management.
Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in personnel management and the implementation of occupational health and safety policies for a wide range of corporate clients, with particular expertise in the industrial and construction sectors, both of which are characterised by complex regulatory and operational requirements. His experience combines legal expertise with a practical understanding of business organisation, enabling him to address employment-related challenges from a comprehensive and business-oriented perspective.
He is a founding partner of INTER VIAM, S.L., a company engaged in business consultancy, real estate management and hospitality ventures, which has further strengthened his cross-sector knowledge of corporate operations and management practices.
He currently advises companies on employment and labour law matters, human resources management and social compliance issues, while also representing and defending clients before the Spanish Labour Courts and employment jurisdiction.
Regarding his academic background, he holds a Law Degree from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), where he also completed the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice. He also holds a Degree in Labour Relations (Graduado Social) from the University of Salamanca. In addition, he is a Certified Senior Occupational Risk Prevention Technician in all three specialisations (Workplace Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics & Applied Psychosociology). His qualifications also include a Master’s Degree in Accounting, Taxation and Business Advisory Services (CEG Salamanca), together with specialised training in Employment Law, Social Security and Labour Procedure, among other complementary programmes.
