On February 21st, our head of Compliance and Criminal Law at LILF, F\u00e1tima Rodr\u00edguez, will participate in this ‘Martesclass’ organised by the ICPF Association.<\/p>\n

During this masterclass, she will address how to combat fraud in this new financial reality that has emerged from the world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. And for those who are still learning about this topic: What are blockchain and cryptocurrencies?<\/p>\n

These are related concepts. Blockchain is a distributed ledger technology that is used to maintain a shared and secure database. Cryptocurrencies are a form of digital currency used to conduct online transactions. These currencies are backed by blockchain and their value is determined by supply and demand.
